Graham McClure – General Manager
Graham founded Go MAD in 2008. He has been travelling to East Africa for over 20 years now, and Musoma has become somewhat of a second home. A builder by trade, Graham is never happier than when he has a hammer in his hand! When he’s not in Africa, he is managing Go Make A Difference and arranging for teams to visit. He spends a lot of time preparing volunteers before they head out to Tanzania. Initially you’ll probably think he’s a little eccentric, but he’ll soon grow on you.
Irene McClure – A Go MAD Trustee
Irene is married to Graham and helped found Go MAD. She spends a lot of her time involved in the healthcare side of our work and this is her real passion. When she’s not consumed with Go MAD she works as a nurse in the UK. She will be involved in your pre-trip training and in keeping in touch with you while you are away. She does a lot behind the scenes, so you’ll probably get an email or two from her.
Claire Anderson – In-Country Director
Claire has been based in Tanzania for the past two and a half years. She was an October 2012 volunteer and has a degree in International Development with Overseas Work Experience; she researched the market garden and the rafiki group for her dissertation during her 8 week trip! Now, she is our in-country manager. She is also Go MAD’s Administrator. Her main roles involve managing Go MAD’s finances, supporting Graham in the running of Go MAD, organising people’s trips and supporting them in-country as well as co-ordinating projects in-country.
